Your Prom Party Checklist …………

PROM DRESS; STYLE AND ORIGINALITY!; Go for dresses that suits your figure and a colour that looks good on you.   Panache is important, but comfort is key to having a good evening.  Those corset top dresses look great, but if they don’t fit your top half well they become an irritation when you have to adjust them all the time. Or, having the embarrassment of showing off more than you want to!

Less is more! Shoes, bag and jewellery should compliment the main star of the show, your dress.  So it’s best not to go bling or colour matching mad with accessories

PROM SHOE: COMFORTABLE AND SEXY!;  Best piece of advice when shopping for your shoes, is to shop when you have been on your feet for sometime, so mid to late afternoon is a good time as you feet will have warmed and swelled up a little – Ideal for trying on the large range of killer heels to  ensure that your final choice will be reasonably comfortable on your feet on the night.

PROM HAIR: UPDO OR DOWN?  Consult your stylist on a style that you may want and that you think would look good with your dress. Have a few home try outs with your friends before the big night.

Eyebrow trim
Good manicure and pedicure (don’t forget those feet if you’re going to wear sandals)
Facial; cleanse, tone, exfoliate, mask and moisturise
Body exfoliation

If you’ve got some extra cash to splash, then why not have:
Nail extensions or gel overlays – fingers and toes
Eyelash extensions – full set or express lashes
Spray tan

PROM MAKEUP;  DON’T OVER DO IT!  Subtle and beautiful should be the end result.  A moisturising foundation with a hint of shine, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara (if you don’t want extensions or strips) and a good lip gloss.  If you’re hopeless at doing your own makeup get a professional to help.
