Get those HAPPY FEET- Have a pedicure!
I had a great pedicure treatment done this week by my beauty buddy, Rachel. My feet are now already for those brand new sandals!
If your feet have those winter blues or even last year’s polish attached here’s how to get your tootsies in to a perfect condition with our Perfect Pamper pedicure DIY tips.
If you haven’t got a foot spa soak your feet in a bowl or take a long luxurious bath to clean and soften your feet, by doing this procedure first will help with the toe nail cutting battle by reducing the risk of blinding the person or pet in the firing line – get my drift? When cutting your nails ensure that you have a decent pair of curved nail scissors or a toe nail clipper, then cut straight across and not down the sides as this might lead to a painful in-growing toe nails. If you can’t manage with scissors use a good quality fine to medium grit surface emery board and file the nails to the required length. Push and tidy the cuticles by using a wooden orange stick. The next step is to get rid of that hard skin. Use a combination of a foot file (I recommend the CND foot rasp), exfoliation and mask. Neal’s Yard Remedies do a great foot polish. . Finally, add some colour with your favourite polish. Easy as that!
